our story
NDSH is a newly established Coding & Robotics skills development entity; that is planning to grow itself into being a fully fletched AI/4IR skills development centre. We want to develop into a training centre with a well-equipped Technology Lab; that shall be fit to support world-class innovators within the AI space. We want to see ourselves having all the necessary accreditations, e.g., from SETA’s, the Department of Higher Education, and other relevant organizations.
Ms. Masabata Chabeli is a Black Women Youth with passion for developing others. She has completed her B.Ed. (Hons.) and she is a recipient of three (3) consecutive Best Student of the Year Awards, i.e., 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years B.Ed. (FET Specialization) Technical. She was further exposed to the 4IR Technologies in China. Masabata was selected as one of the Top 10 most promising Female ICT entrepreneurs across the country for the first MTN SA Foundation Women in ICT Challenge in 2022 and received R 100 000.00. She received an additional R20 000 cash Prize at the EBL Graduation and Business Excellence Award in 2022, on top of the R100 000 funding.

History of our childcare center.
NDSH is the brainchild of the Managing Director, Masabata. The idea came about after Masabata was selected to be in a group of 45 Lecturers across the country to learn about 4IR Technologies in China: in 2017. The duration of the study trip was one month, and I was awarded a certificate of participation and completion of all requirements for Intelligent Manufacturing & 3-D Printing Application Training Program.
Her exposure during the China trip; planted a strong seed in Masabata, which translated into the birth of New Dawn Skills Hub. NDSH provides Numeracy, Literacy and Digital skills to learners, students, teachers, and young unemployed people. We believe that if a person has a skill, that person is in a better position to either look for employment or create employment for themselves.
We see ourselves making a positive contribution towards our country’s 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills development aspirations and goals. In the process we are planning to contribute towards empowering individuals with skills to be employable and be contributors to our economy with desired impacts.

I am confident that this nomination will help me to further enhance my reputation in the engineering industry and will open up new avenues for me to grow my career. I am looking forward to attending the awards ceremony and the opportunity to network with other industry professionals.
Thabiso John matsemela
I have designed and installed various projects which involve microcontroller engineering solutions. The solutions include Sbicho Load shedding Systems (fixed and mobile), smart wiring with wi-fi and transceiver modules, smart alarm systems with energy management, access control for physically challenged people, smart doorbells, vehicle anti-theft systems, and automation in the home and office. Furthermore, I provide customers with custom engineering solutions that suit their specifications.

Since the field of engineering is not static, I keep polishing my engineering skills as well as stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the engineering industry. I attend conferences and read technical journals to stay informed. I also consult with industry experts to gain additional insights. This helps me to understand the current trends in the engineering industry, and how my skills can be applied to solve complex engineering problems. It also allows me to identify new opportunities to expand my expertise and knowledge.
